Super Bowl: Jeremy Scott for Katy Perry

The day before the big 2015 Super Bowl Sunday, this year’s Super Bowl Halftime Show performer: Katy Perry launched the NFL Women’s Apparel Sweater Dress. The singer announced the launch via twitter to her 64.3 million followers. This frock is designed by Katy Perry herself, and by Forever Collectibles. It can be purchased at NFLShop.com at the retail price of $150 and will ship no later than May 15.

Katy Perry dazzled in outfits designed by Jeremy Scott for the Halftime Show. She opens the show with a vibrant flame dress.  Jeremy Scott said,  “we wanted something very strong and striking and iconic and powerful… [Katy] was inspired by flame shoes I’ve done in the past, so she was like, ‘what if we took something like that?’”

Katy Perry then takes off the flame dress and transitions into a playful dress, which is a more typical Katy Perry style dress.  Jeremy Scott says, “she takes it off to reveal her beach ball California look for her song “California Gurls.” That one was inspired by a beach ball, because that’s part of the scene, giant beach balls and sharks.”

As Missy Elliot joins her performance, Katy Perry “slips on the black hoodie with the crystals all over with number 49, referring to the number 49 Super Bowl.” Scott also explains that this outfit was upon his request as there were originally only going to be three outfits for the show.

Katy Perry’s final dress was originally designed for Mochino. The one shoulder silver dress has various sized holographic and silver Mylar sequin stars all over the dress.  Katy Perry sang her award winning song "Firework" and the show end with real fireworks to accompany the song .
